The Science of Sleep
So, last night was the best night of sleep that I’ve had in awhile. It was just good, solid sleep. But, when was the last night I had sleep that was as good, or better? I spend a good fraction of a 24 hour day asleep and dreaming; yet, how much of this time (valuable, but enigmatic) do I actually know and understand?
Well, I figure an interesting project would be to begin logging and keeping track of my sleep and dream habits/patterns. This would include the date; the beginning and ending times of each sleep session; any dream aspects I can remember (that’ll be fun); a rating of quality of sleep, based on a 10-scale; and any other pertinent or notable information connected to the sleep and/or dreams.
My question: are there any other sleep/dream elements, or any other variable, I should include in the log to make this project interesting or insightful?
